FlowDesigner works under Windows Vista with some cares. Here are some descriptions.

Modeling
Works fine.

Solver Operation
Works fine.

Viewer Investigation
Depending on the graphic board your PC has, it is known that some model parts become transparent. It happens mostly with onboard graphics without separate graphic board like some laptops and entry level desktops.

Under Windows XP, disabling hardware acceleration on the graphic solves the problem. However, Vista does not have the option.

Work around is;
- Modifying graphic properties
In case of using onboard graphics on Intel chip set, the problem can be solved by modifying graphic properties.
(Excluding Intel 810 and 815 chip set)

Procedure

Right-click on the desktop and select "Graphics Properties..."

Click "3D Settings" button.

Change [Depth Buffer Bit Depth] from "Default" to "24 Bit Depth Buffer".

Alternative: Install add-on graphic board.
If you are using desktop computers and they have open PCI Express slots or AGP slots, you might want to install an add-on graphic board.
We tested and found the boards listed below.

ATI

Radeon HD2400
Radeon HD3650

NVIDIA

GeForce6200
GeForce7600GS
GeForce8400GS
GeForce9600GT
